Irene Tang

Irene is a New Jersey native who moved to Charlotte in 2008. She is a senior at UNC Charlotte studying Public Relations and minoring in Spanish, while also pursuing the Epley Undergraduate Certificate in International Public Relations. Irene is treasurer for the PRSSA chapter at UNC Charlotte. Irene is also an alumnae sister of the Chi Omega Fraternity and a former UNC Charlotte cheerleader. She spent the summer of 2011 in Costa Rica studying the Spanish language and culture.

Jaclyn Harris

Jaclyn Harris, a Senior at UNC Charlotte, is a Communications Studies Major with a concentration in International Public Relations and a Minor in Journalism. During the Summer 2010 semester she studied journalism in London, England at the University of Westminster. She is the Vice President of the Women's Club Soccer Team and is a member of PRSSA. After graduation, she hopes to pursue her Master's Degree in Communications and find a job in corporate Public Relations.

Heather Sackett

Heather Sackett is a first-year graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and aims to obtain a Masters of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus on public relations and organizational communication. Heather received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Multimedia Journalism from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Her research interests include corporate social responsibility, crisis communication, greenwashing, and sustainability. Heather hopes to gain a career in environmental public relations.

Caitlin Weiss

Caitlin is a Communications Major pursuing the Epley Certificate of International Public Relations with Minors in Jouralism and Music. She is the President of UNC Charlotte's Womens Club Soccer Team for the 2012-2013 school year. She is also the Secretary for PRSSA on campus for  the upcoming year. After she graduates in May she hopes to find an international job that will let her travel the world.

Brittany Bryant

Brittany Bryant will graduate spring 2013, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations. She also will be awarded the Epley Certificate in International Public Relations Studies. Bryant has most recently held the positions of Marketing Intern at Yelp Charlotte; was Director of the UNC Charlotte Campus Activities Board; and Art Gallery & Movie Theater Coordinator at the UNC Charlotte Student Union.

Julian Taborda

Julian is new to the CGPR this semester. He is very excited to be working with Dr. Kruckeberg in the CGPR handling social media and the Center’s annual global conference in April. He will be graduating with a BA in Communication in May. He will also be receiving the Epley certificate of International Public Relations. Julian’s hobbies include playing soccer, mountain biking, and paintballing. Julian is fluent in Spanish and hopes to use his language skills to pursue a career in PR within the Hispanic/Latino community.   

Meliha Krvavac

Meliha Krvavac moved to the U.S. from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the age of ten. She is currently a senior at UNC Charlotte, pursuing degrees in Public Relations and Marketing. She is also a member of PRSSA. After graduating in December 2012, Meliha aspires to work for Bank of America in uptown Charlotte. 

Kenechukwu Onwugbolu

Kenechukwu Onwugbolu is a first-year graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte who is aiming to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus on public relations. Originally from Nigeria, Kenechukwu has lived in the U.S. since he was 8. Kenechukwu received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from UNC Charlotte. With a passion for pop culture, primarily film and television, Kenechukwu aspires to work in entertainment public relations.
